Some of Andy's Favorite Recipes
The GNU Emacs distribution actually contains a file of cookie recipes.
Here is a slightly edited copy with my notes
on the one that I've tried before, which I originally received attached
to one of the Mrs. Field's/Neiman-Marcus urban legends. It may not
be from there, but it makes a big batch of pretty good cookies, great
for taking around work and meeting people you wouldn't normally have a
chance to talk to.
Here is a recipe for Tecolote Squash
that I got from a New Mexico recipe cook book. I'll get more detailed
info on that book soon and put it here, as well as a list of other
favorite recipes from it.
Just about anything from the cook book In the Kitchen
with Rosie is pretty good. I've tried at least half of them.
This is partly because it has a lot of good low fat recipes, but partly
because it doesn't have as many recipes as most cook books do.
